Dinner @ Chef d' Angelo + Thor (04.30.11)

It's the last day of the month and the best way to spend it is by hanging out with your friends. I texted my peers early in the morning but since they are busy reviewing for the upcoming Pharmacists Licensure Examination, only few made it. Ate and Janine met me at Dapitan then we went directly to SM City San Lazaro to have dinner. We went to Chef d' Angelo since it is the nearest one after we inquired of the movie schedule that night.
I really like to have green iced tea that time but sadly, only four seasons is available. It's been years since I last ate here so I am not that updated to the changes in their food selection.
I was supposed to have pasta alone but I was influenced by my hungry friends so I had my usual order, Sampler 1 (Pizza, pasta and big bird fried chicken). It's very affordable but it will surely make your stomach full. I really like their chicken here because it is always juicy and tasty not only on the outer portion but also the meat itself.

After our dinner, we went to the cinemas and purchased our tickets. It was surprising how many people waited to watch this movie which I am not aware of. The film is nice and what's interesting is when Janine told me how it was connected to Iron man. I became instantly excited to watch the next Avengers film. I also like the teaser portion after the credits were shown.
Another happy moment with my lovely peers:) Thanks guys!

Dinner @ Pancake House with Ludy (04.07.11)

First day ng Antibiotics Compliance Training namin sa Ritemed  in Ortigas. It was a day for learning and fun but I had a hard time going to the area since taxi drivers usually decline once they know na Ortigas ang pupuntahan ko sa umaga. Ludy and I did not eat our mirienda so we were already starving when the session ended. We went to Robinsons Galleria to eat. As usual, we went up and down back and forth just to find a place to eat. There are many options but since we are very hungry, we played safe and chose one of our favorites, PANCAKE HOUSE:)
The place is better compared to other Pancake Houses I've visited before. It's not crowded and still it has that bright sunny day feeling plus the movie posters: )
The waiter served our drinks first which gave us the time to share our insights regarding our new advocacy in Antibiotics Compliance. We also talked about our friends(we miss you guys) who are busy with their respective works.

Since we are very hungry, Ludy and I decided to have a rice meal and to share a pasta:))
GLUTTONY STRIKES!

I ordered my Pancake house favorite even if I told Ludy "Purgang purga nako sa mc chicken, chicken joy at kfc chicken" that's why she asked me "chicken na naman?"
3PCS OF CLASSIC PAN CHICKEN
Ludy had beef (as always,, even during our big martha days)
HOT ROAST BEEF
Then we shared with the white pasta dish... and yeah very contradictory to our skin tone:)) hehe
It's one of my favorite carbonara...
CREAMY CARBONARA
Ludy and I enjoyed our dining experience. The crew is very friendly, efficient and quick.
Rob Galleria's is one of the best branches to visit.

Dinner @ Joey Pepperoni with ludy and ate aljane (03.29.11)

Tuesday night, ate aljane, Ludy and I decided to meet at MOA to have dinner together since ate just came back from Tacloban and Ludy just finished having their Pcount in her branch. I came back to Manila just in time for me to arrive at MOA at the set time. I met ate at Mamang Taho and we went to LRT for us to reach the place faster since it's Quiapo Day. We went around Moa for several times until we found Joey Pepperoni.

Ate Aljane diverted her hunger to the games printed on the paper mats at Joey Pepperoni. I felt so cold that I decided to move the windows of the air conditioner but what happened next is really unexpected. I fell down the chair and screamed loudly out of shock. Hahaha. Then I was laughing out of shame the whole time. Good thing the food came few minutes after that disastrous event.

CARBONARA: Made with creamy alfredo sauce, bacon bits and parmesan cheese.
CHICKEN PARMIGIANA: Pomodoro sauce topped with deep fried
chicken fillet and melted mozzarella cheese
White cheese pizza: very yummy!!! my choice for pizza

LASAGNE ALLA BOLOGNESE: Layers of lasagna sheets filled with bolognese and bechamel sauce topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese
Nothing beats the reunion of good old friends... literal po iyan,,,
ako ang good,,
si ate ang old,,
si ludy si friend! hahaha

Vday @ Greenbelt 3: NYFD, The Black Swan, Bubba Gump

It's Vday and it's Jharon's 21st Birthday.. so after fixing my retainers I went to him at gateway and we had a hard time going to Greenbelt since no taxi wants to give us a ride... As always he never considered MRT as a way of transportation (hehe arte much!) So we had no choice but to ride the bus... We went to Greenbelt 3 to claim our reserved seats for Black Swan then he treated me @ NYFD for snacks which I guess is heavy enough to be called dinner! I gave him a small cake from Bread Talk which looks like him when smiling.

As always, nothing can beat NYFD when it comes to fries! It was superb especially with my favorite Garlic Parmesan. I ordered their signature sandwich NYFD Bacon N' Cheese Burger which I think is perfectly served that time. Of course it won't be complete without the strawberry juice!!!

On the other hand, he ordered Bacon Cheesedog which is more than enough to be called supper according to him.

Then he wants some jelly beans from the candy station just beside the NYFD stall so I went there to have some and I have lots of funny experiences during that time.

Then we went to see the advance screening of the much talked about film of the year- The Black Swan... It was an awesome movie and the performance of Portman was outstanding!
After the movie, we walked then walked and walked again then we decided to eat at Bubba Gump but we were still full because of the snacks we had @ NYFD so I only ordered pasta and he got some dessert since we was not able to eat all of his food before the movie

the place is cool and full of vintage designs that has a theme of a cabin found beside a lake

I was not able to eat the pasta since I already feel like vomiting plus we had a small fight that time. But the one I ordered, OF COURSE WE HAVE SCAMPI taste really good!!! The power of the shrimp was given emphasis... I forgot what my drink is but It's really lovely!!! I think it's JENNY'S FAVORITE

and lastly, it won't be a birthday without the blowing of the cake!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

Mirienda @ Forest House Bistro & Cafe, Baguio City (01.21.11)

After our walk along session road and visit in Baguio Cathedral, we decided to eat mirienda before going home. We have two in mind. 50's Diner or Forest House? Then we ended choosing Forest House Bistro and Cafe, located at Loakan Road near Session Road. The place is like an old cabin and I love the coziness it have. When we entered the place, we don't want to get out due to fascination with the interior of the restaurant. If you will look at the way they arranged the place, you will think that dining in there is too expensive, but to our surprise it's very affordable!
THE PLACE: 5.0 / 5.0

Since we're still full, we decided to have short orders. Both of us like Fettuccini Carbonara (230.00 php) so even if we're not sure if it tastes good we ordered the same pasta... we also shared on a Flame Broiled Forest House Burger (175.00php)

FETTUCCINI CARBONARA: 7.0 / 5.0
the best carbonara I've tasted in a restaurant!!!
It made me want to stay there even just for a week!!! hehe

FLAME BROILED FOREST HOUSE BURGER: 4.0 / 5.0
well, not the best BUT definitely a must try! it has a unique taste,,
only i wanted it to be toasted a little more
plus the chips would be better if freshly made:)

Bottomless iced tea to complete the meal!!!

After the meal we decided to stay a little longer to burn time.. we enjoyed the relaxing scenery from the balcony in which you can also dine if you want to(a perfect location for valentines)

then we stayed inside and it really feels like home:)) the great interior of the place is a big factor for you to enjoy your dining experience in Forest House!!!

the next time I visit Baguio, I will surely return to this place!!!
